2008年二月份月曆桌布：Cardiff Castle 卡地夫城堡
卡地夫是英國威爾斯(Wales)地區的首府，就相當於倫敦之於英格蘭，愛丁堡之於蘇格蘭的意思，不知道這樣講，肯定會有疑問的喵媽媽有看懂了嗎？
除了英語之外，威爾斯地區也使用威爾斯語(Welsh)，很多公共設施都是用威爾斯語標示的，同樣的狀況在蘇格蘭北部地區也可以發現－蘇格蘭高地地區，也仍使用蓋爾語(Gaelic)，不過比較起來，威爾斯語似乎比較盛行，這可能跟各地政府的政策有關吧。
跟英國各地的其他城堡比起來，卡地夫城堡並不算特別華麗有特色，而且修復的有點過頭，很像台南孔廟那種紅漆艷的可怕，古蹟修復真是門大學問啊～買了門票後會有導覽人員帶大家進去參觀，一間間的解說，也因此並沒有自由東張西望的機會，裡面的裝潢風格非常的繁複，可惜禁止拍照，不過阿喵保證喜歡極簡北歐風之類的人，進去一定會想奪門而出，簡單講，就是從天花板到地板、門把到門檻、椅背到椅腳，花樣覆蓋率高達99.9%啦～
因為裡面不能拍照，眾喵在城堡外的小城堡跟吉祥物拍了照，要爬上百層階梯才能攻頂的苦寒小城堡，其實是關犯人的地方，所謂犯人，就是搶王位搶輸的王親國戚啊，大戶人家的辛酸果然不是喵能懂滴～

話說我也很受不了修復得花枝招展的古蹟，但記得很久以前看夏元瑜（是的，匠講妳就知道多久以前了吧）談某古裝戲的文字，其中一段提到仿古應該有點常識：比方現在我們看到銹綠斑斕黑漆抹烏的青銅爵是歲月的結果，當年要是敢呈上這樣的東西給大王喝酒，鐵定會被殺頭啦。同理，如今我們覺得很低調幽遠發人之思古幽情的古蹟，焉知當年全新落成剪綵啟用之際不是大紅大綠咧？畢竟這些多半是重要建築如宮殿廟堂，而使用重要建築的重要人物可不見得都愛北歐極簡風啊……
另，阿喵妳們大不列顛系列的照片月曆等等都超有feel說～拍得好！
